About Kevin Ersoy
Experienced software engineer specializing in Android development with Kotlin & Jetpack Compose, backed by a strong foundation in hardware and a passion for game engineering.
Android Engineering, Hardware Roots & Games
I am an experienced Software Engineer specializing in Android development for large-scale, high-impact mobile surfaces. In my professional work, I build modern, reactive user experiences primarily using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, backed by deep experience with Java and classic Android XML architectures.
I bring a unique perspective to software engineering rooted in my background in hardware. Understanding electronics, computer architecture, and low-level device constraints informs how I write efficient, memory-conscious, and resilient code across everything I build.
Outside of day-to-day Android development, I channel my creativity into indie game development with Unity and C#. From designing real-time spatial solvers and tactile grid mechanics in Tumble Tiles to developing 2.5D physics engines and level builders in Egg Racer, I enjoy taking complete software projects from concept all the way to release.
I value clean code, pragmatic architecture, and building robust software that holds up under real-world usage.
